Week 9 reflection

 I really was interested in how much Nurses did during the war. The nurses in America being better than the Nurses in other countries in World War two was very surprising. It would seem like there's would be better as the put more focus on medicine now, but the U.S was much more militarily focused, so their training systems in World War two were probably better and more prepared. It's really interesting to me how Nurses were treated after in movies and books, it devalued their work a lot. This likely came out of sexism, but it seems strange since nurses had done so much for the war effort. Also finding this information was harder than others, maybe because it had happened so long ago?
